Review: Coral Sea Imperial Sensatori, Sharm El Sheikh

Coral Sea Imperial Sensatori ★★★★★

⭐ Overall rating: 9/10

Overview

This honest review of Coral Sea Imperial Sensatori Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, where we stayed from 14.02 - 21.02.2026, comes from a special trip for us - Valentine's Day and Valentina's birthday.

From the very first hours we felt that this hotel is a true Premium. Not just a declarative Egyptian 5*, but one that delivers in most aspects (with small exceptions - the bathroom finishes show some signs of wear).

The guests are predominantly British (around 70%), and that reflects directly in the atmosphere: educated, well-mannered people, no excesses, no unnecessary noise. A mature, civilized crowd - exactly the kind of environment where you feel comfortable.

Concept & Atmosphere - 9/10

This hotel works equally well for families and for adults.

It is designed intelligently: the nightlife entertainment areas are separated from the residential areas. Where the fun happens, there is noise - absolutely normal and expected.

But in the residential zones there is an almost unshakeable calm, satisfying both those who want to stay out late and those who want genuine rest.

Rooms - 8.5/10

We stayed in a Standard Pool View, for which we paid a very reasonable upgrade compared to the initial Garden View. The difference is worth it.

The room is not recently renovated, but it also does not feel like it urgently needs renovation. It is nicely maintained and we had no objections.

The bathroom shows small signs of wear in the finishes, however it is fully functional and it has a bathtub - something many people appreciate.

Cleaning is done daily and it is good and consistent.

Mini-bar is included, but it is not refilled.

There is also a terrace with a table and chairs - a pleasant spot for morning coffee or a quiet drink in the evening.

Food - 9/10

The main restaurant is called Tiran and, honestly, we liked it. The buffet is varied on most days - you do not get the feeling you are eating the exact same food every single day. The only part where you notice some repetition is breakfast, but that is almost unavoidable in any All Inclusive.

Breakfast is good. You have plenty to choose from. It is not spectacular and not gourmet, but it is more than sufficient and properly done. You start your day calmly.

At lunch and dinner, things are different and much better. The food is tasty, well cooked, and you can feel it is not thrown on the plate out of obligation. The dishes are made with care. It is not quite fine dining, but clearly above the Egypt average.

Desserts are good. You do not leave the table disappointed.

A detail that matters to us: cocktails are served in glassware (as it should be in a Premium hotel), not in plastic like at most hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. The drinks are good, with no unpleasant surprises.

The coffee is very good. And in Egypt, that is truly worth mentioning.

If you stay a minimum of 7 nights, you can book one free dinner at one of the a la carte restaurants. We went to Marhaba - on Valentina's birthday, the Arabic cuisine option. Pleasant atmosphere, well-prepared food, a successful experience. We left satisfied.

Beach - 9/10

The beach is very convenient and easy to access, at the same level as the hotel, so you do not need to go down any stairs.

It has fine sand and a very long pier.

One thing that must be mentioned is that immediately as you enter the sea, it is not only sand, but also solid rock.

There are always enough sunbeds and they are very comfortable, with soft mattresses. The beach bar is included in the price (we are on All Inclusive).

Grounds & Facilities - 9/10

The hotel is fairly large, but extremely well organized - parallel to the coastline (not perpendicular, like Maritime Jolie Ville for example), which makes every point of interest feel very close. It is cozy, picturesque and surprisingly green. In the evening, it is honestly worth going for a walk on its alleys. There is a scent of night flowers that literally makes you feel dizzy in an unforgettable way. The kind of detail that does not appear in brochures, but stays in your memory.

There are several pools, including heated ones - very important especially in February. The water is at a comfortable temperature, not just "theoretically heated".

The aquapark exists, it is not huge, but it is sufficient and it is placed at the exit of the hotel. For families with kids, it is an obvious plus.

There is also a SPA, which we did not test, so I will not comment.

The gym is good, not just for ticking a box. It has proper, functional equipment, where you can do a serious workout if you want.

Besides that, there are beach volleyball courts and a petanque field - that ball game tourists (especially the British) play with almost Olympic seriousness.

Location - 7/10

The hotel is not located in a city, but in a large area of other hotels (including Jaz Belvedere). To reach the main city area - Old Market - guests can take a taxi for around $10/one way.

Conclusion

Verdict: Coral Sea Imperial Sensatori is a hotel I INSISTENTLY recommend to tourists with a mid-to-high budget, mature, with or without children.

It has a Kids Club, an aquapark, pools for children and a special corner for them in the Tiran Restaurant.

The elevated guest profile, the very civilized and restrained, yet kind behavior - including from the staff - makes the difference and leaves a very positive impression and the desire to come back here.

I do not recommend it to those who love loud развлечения and crazy parties.

Personally? We caught ourselves more than once thinking we would come back here again, and not just once.
